Wildfires raging throughout Rhodes and Corfu may worsen, it’s feared, as excessive temperatures throughout Europe are set to return this week.
An anticyclone system referred to as Cerberus expanded northwards over the continent earlier this month, resulting in scorching temperatures and even a menace to life warning in Italy because of the excessive warmth.
However Cerberus is now being changed with a second heatwave, named Charon, which may push temperatures again as much as round 45°C throughout the continent, the MailOnline studies.

A British couple have instructed of their ‘nightmare’ time on Rhodes whereas celebrating their wedding ceremony anniversary.
Laura and Marc Corridor have been purported to fly again to the UK on Friday, and described ash falling of their drinks as they have been instructed to face by at their resort.
The couple have been evacuated to a basketball stadium and slept on the ground in a single day.
Chatting with BBC Breakfast, Mrs Corridor mentioned: ‘It’s been a nightmare, on Saturday night time we have been simply having a drink and we knew that different locations had been evacuated however we have been simply instructed to face by.
‘There was ash falling in our drinks and we may simply see a blaze within the distance and a load of smoke, we have been instructed to not do something after which rapidly we had alarms going off on our telephone and the waiter was saying standby, shouting “mayday, mayday”.
‘So it was only a mad panic, all of us began packing, we have been simply instructed to attend and we’d need to evacuate, so we simply stayed in our rooms and at 3am we get a name, we’ve received to go.’
