Haji Choudhary Rab Nawaz, 52, was knifed when violence erupted following a funeral he had attended together with his brother in Coventry.

Mohammed, 30, and Mahmood, 19, each of Birmingham, together with Adam Razaaq, 21, Hasnian Razaaq, 24, and Hasham Razaaq, 23, all of Halesowen, had been remanded in custody and can be sentenced at a later date.
Detective Inspector Nick Barnes, from West Midlands Police, mentioned: ‘This was extreme violence which tragically led to the demise of a much-loved father.
‘These 5 males acted collectively and it appears to have stemmed from an ongoing feud between two households.
‘It’s yet one more instance of the terrible penalties of carrying knives in public locations.
‘I’m grateful to the jury who spent a number of weeks paying shut consideration to the proof, and had been clearly unconvinced by the net of lies from these defendants who determined to offer proof.
‘Though nothing can sadly ever deliver Mr Nawaz again, we hope these convictions will deliver some sense of justice for many who knew him.’
Mr Nawaz was described by his household as a ‘reliable shining mild of excellent’.
